In order to maintain the quality and implementation of academic activities at Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, the university’s quality audit team audited the Agricultural Extension and Communication Study program (AEC SP). This activity was carried out to evaluate study program activities that have been carried out in the past year in the aspects of educational services, the quality of human resources for lecturers and education staff, students and alums, collaborative networks, research and community service, and other supporting activities. Through this quality audit, it is hoped that the study program will continue to improve its quality so that it continues to be maintained and improved. This spirit aligns with the spirit of the AEC study program, which is currently applying for ASIIN international accreditation. Prof. Dr. Suminah, M.Si, as head of the study program, hopes that the AEC study program will continue to improve its quality every year, especially towards international class. Several evaluation points that have increased in this audit include increasing the achievements of lecturers and students, obtaining research and community service grant funding, the quality of graduates and alums who are studying further, working, working at an international level, or entrepreneurship. Meanwhile, aspects that need to be improved, especially the duration for completing student theses, still need to be increased, especially after the Covid pandemic faced by students from the 2018-2019 class. Dr. Emi Widiyanti, M.Si, head of the study program quality control, said that the study program had prepared tactical steps to improve study program performance.
