Rural Sociology Laboratory An internship in rural sociology, agribusiness, agrotechnology, and soil sciences was arranged for first-semester students by the Agricultural Communication and Extension Study Program of the Agricultural Faculty of UNS on Friday, October 27–29, 2023. 605 students participated in the internship, which took place across the village in the Karanganyar district’s Ngargoyoso and Karangpandan districts. This exercise complements the agricultural economics course in a positive way. Students should expect to learn about and experience the lives of rural communities, particularly those of farmers, through this internship. According to a separate statement made by Eksa Rusdiyana, M.Sc., the field activities—which are split into two categories: agricultural economy and rural sociology—are anticipated to offer thorough learning for everyone.
