Surakarta, [12/7/2024] – Faculty members of the Agricultural Extension and Communication Program at Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) have initiated a comprehensive monitoring process for the MBKM (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka) internships undertaken by 6th semester students. This monitoring effort is designed to ensure that students are effectively integrating their academic knowledge with real-world experiences during their internships. The faculty’s role includes evaluating students’ progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting their professional development throughout the internship period.

The MBKM program offers students the opportunity to gain practical experience in their field of study, fostering a deeper understanding of their discipline and enhancing their employability upon graduation. By actively engaging in this monitoring process, the faculty aims to maximize the benefits of the internship experience, helping students to apply their learning effectively and to address any challenges they may encounter. The ongoing support and assessment by the faculty are crucial in ensuring that the internships meet educational objectives and provide meaningful learning opportunities for students. This initiative underscores the program’s commitment to bridging the gap between academic learning and practical application, ultimately contributing to the student’s success and readiness for their future careers.
