As a form of evaluation, the Agricultural Extension and Communication study program at UNS conducted a student satisfaction survey regarding the implementation of classes in the past semester. The evaluation results include the performance of lecturers in conducting classes, such as the delivery of learning plans, learning materials, teaching methods, learning assessments, assistance with difficulties, motivation and inspiration, exemplary attitudes, and the competencies achieved by students from the courses taught by the lecturers.
On a scale of 4, the survey results indicate that student satisfaction is highest in the course “The Dynamics of Rural Development” with a score of 3.7. Following that, the courses “Training Management,” “Statistics of Social Science,” “Social Science Research Methods,” “Social Forestry,” “Social Change,” “Rural Sociology,” “Personality Development,” “Personal Communication,” “Organization and Leadership,” “Economic Sociology,” “Business Communication,” “Agricultural Extension,” and “Agricultural Communication” all achieved a score of 3.6. The third highest student satisfaction in extension and communication courses (theory and practical) is found in the courses “Statistics,” “Social Psychology,” “Agricultural Extension Program Planning and Evaluation,” “Organizational Communication,” “Mass Communication,” “Learning Process in Counseling,” “Methods and Techniques,” “Experimental Design,” “Entrepreneurship,” “Community Development,” “Citizenship and Development,” “Citizenship,” “Agricultural Development,” and “Agrarian Studies,” with a score of 3.5. Meanwhile, the lowest satisfaction is found in the courses “Scientific Methods,” “Introduction to Precision Agriculture,” “Information and Multimedia Technology,” “Industrial Sociology,” “Change Management and Conflict Resolution,” and “Agrarian Law and Politics,” with a score of 3.4. With the results of this survey, it is hoped that the lecturers and the course team can improve their performance in the next semester.
